Meet Jake

Jake joins the PropertySmart team as a Real Estate Agent. Jake is also Senior Vice President of Development at Smith & Henzy Affordable Group, a multifamily developer specializing in workforce housing. In his role Jake has created over 1,000 units of rental housing across the state of Florida. Jake is a specialist in sales, underwriting, title and finance. Jake will also utilize his knowledge of legal contracts and market conditions to deliver superior advice and counsel for his clients.

Jake received his B.A. from University of Michigan. Jake is also a Fulbright Scholar who spent a year abroad in Madrid post graduation, fluent in Spanish with knowledge of Portuguese. He is a graduate of University of South Florida Community Real Estate Development Program and ULI Leadership Institute.

In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his two kids, playing dominoes and binge watching the latest guilty pleasure on Netflix. Jake lives in Miami-Dade County on the outskirts of South Miami and Coral Gables - where he can be found walking his two boxer dogs, practicing jiu jitsu or eating at a local restaurant near you.
